SONQOLLAY

Sonqollay, which means "my heart" in Quechua, a native language of the Andes, is an intimate tribute to childhood and to my own roots.

This collection marks the time when I began experimenting with aguayo textiles, integrating them into my paintings and sculptures, and making the rose a fundamental symbol in my work. To me, the rose is much more than just an image; it is an eternal tribute to my father, who nurtured my love for art from a young age and planted the creative seed that brings this exhibition to life today.
Above all, this collection is a tribute to my Peru, seen through my own eyes. Each piece captures fragments of our identity and our roots, inviting us to remember where we come from and who we are.
