A rose handcrafted from aguayo textile appears suspended against an oil-painted sky in the soft tones of sunset. Sunset Rose combines the colour and texture of the rose with the warm light of the landscape, creating a small scene somewhere between the real and the imagined.
The frame of sculpted roses completes the piece, extending the form of the flower beyond the image.
