My Horizon is a poetic box, a contemporary retablo inspired by the horizon that unfolds before us, filled with promise and hope.
When opened, it reveals a landscape radiating peace and light, our inner horizon. The sky merges with sculpted petals in high relief, forming a cloud that embraces a central eye. Within its iris, a rose blooms, a living symbol of the soul that dwells within every being, ever open to light and mystery.
This scene hovers between the real and the symbolic, between what is seen and what is felt. When closed, the piece reveals a hummingbird composed entirely of roses in relief, set against a backdrop of translucent red blossoms. Painting and sculpture converge in this piece, inviting the viewer to contemplate the horizon of the soul.
