Melody of the Soul speaks of the music we carry within us, shaped by emotions, memories and passions that become part of who we are. The figure of a violinist becomes one with her instrument, while roses bloom across her body and continue to grow from the violin itself. A hummingbird approaches the flowers, bringing movement and life to the sculpture. Roses and details of Peruvian aguayo fabric add colour and texture, while the violin becomes a symbol of that inner melody that is uniquely our own. Like music, some feelings stay with us long after the moment has passed. Melody of the Soul is about those emotions and memories that continue to resonate within us and become part of the way we move through life.
