Some memories become more precious with time. Golden Memory grew from that simple idea, the moments and people we carry with us, even as life continues to change.
At its centre is a rose handcrafted from aguayo textile, surrounded by sculpted leaves and warm golden tones. The leaves continue across the doors of the piece, so that when it is closed, the artwork reveals another side of itself.
For me, the gold represents the value we give to certain memories as time passes, the ones we choose to keep close.
Golden Memory is about what remains with us, and how some memories become part of who we are.
