Two flamingos emerge from a red rose, while the intense gaze of a jaguar appears at its centre. Together they trace an imagined landscape of my Peru, bringing together nature, colour and some of the elements that form part of Sueños Sonqollay.
The work is created on aguayo textile, whose weave and vibrant colours remain visible and become part of the composition.
The frame, designed and handcrafted by Mark Mills, completes the work with its organic forms, making each piece unique.
