The jaguar, one of the most iconic animals of the Peruvian jungle and a species currently under threat, is the central presence in this work.
Painted in oil on aguayo textile, the different layers of paint allow the weave and texture of the fabric to remain visible, keeping my roots present and becoming part of the work itself.
The piece is completed by an unconventional frame, specially designed and crafted by Mark Mills.
